Labdanum oil

If you smell one scent from this range, make it this one. Labdanum is warm, sweet, resinous and almost musky. It is deep and sensual: the kind of scent perfumers have used for centuries as the heart of the most expensive perfumes.

Labdanum comes from the rock rose: a shrub that grows wild on the hills around the Mediterranean. The plant produces a sticky, fragrant resin, and this golden-yellow oil is obtained from it.

A few drops in your diffuser and your home smells like a warm, quiet evening. Mixed with a carrier oil, you make a rich massage or body oil, or your own natural perfume.

How you use it

Diffuser: 2 to 4 drops in the water. The scent is powerful, so start with little. Skin: always dilute, no more than 2 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil. Do not ingest and keep out of reach of children.
