Essential oil - Ylang Ylang

Candles lit, phone away, the evening for yourself or for the two of you. For evenings like that there is ylang-ylang: a sweet, floral scent that sets a mood straight away.

Ylang-ylang smells heady, sweet and exotic, with a creamy floral note. Since ancient times the scent has been seen as romantic. You also find it in perfumes, lotions and soaps. This oil is intense: a very small amount is enough.

Mixed with a carrier oil, you make a softly scented massage oil that makes dry skin supple.

• For massage: diluted in a carrier oil, it cares for dry skin
• Scalp: diluted, for a less dry feeling on your scalp
• A little goes far: so intense that a few drops last a long time

How you use it

Diffuser: 3 to 5 drops in the water. Start with less: the scent is strong. Skin: always dilute, with no more than 2 to 3 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil. Test first on a small patch of skin and wait 24 hours. Ylang-ylang naturally contains allergens such as isoeugenol, which can irritate the skin.

Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Ylang-ylang is toxic to dogs and cats: do not use it on your pet and not in a room where your pet can inhale it or lick it. Store the bottle cool and dark, and do not use it anymore if the scent has changed.
