Essential Oil - Bergamot

A room that has been shut all day. You want a fresh scent, without lighting a candle. A few drops of bergamot in the diffuser are enough then.

This essential oil from Evergetikon is an extract of citrus bergamia. The scent is fresh, citrusy and clear. A few drops give a warm, calm scent in the room, a scent that helps you settle.

On your skin you always dilute it in a carrier oil. Bergamot makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.

Why you want it in the house

• Fresh citrus: a clear scent of bergamot
• In the diffuser: 3 to 5 drops for the scent in the house
• To blend: with jasmine, clary sage, ylang-ylang, orange or rosemary
• On the skin: only diluted, a few drops at a time
• Sparing: you only need a little

How you use it

In the diffuser: 3 to 5 drops. On your skin: always dilute, a maximum of 2 to 3 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil. Do not ingest. Bergamot makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. So do not go into the sun for 12 hours after applying. Avoid contact with your eyes. Store out of reach of children.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor first. If you blend the oil with rosemary, do not use that mix during pregnancy or if you have epilepsy. Ylang-ylang is very intense, so start with a little. If you have sensitive skin, test a diluted drop on a small patch first.
